Gaibandha District with an area of 2,179.27 km ², is limited by Kurigram and Rangpur districts in the north, Bogra district in the south, Jamalpur and Kurigram districts and the river Brahmaputra in the east, and districts Rangpur Dinajpur in the west.
Travel from Dhaka: There are available bus 24 hours a day. It is easy to go Gaibandha from Dhaka. Train is also available from Komlapur railway station Dhaka to Gaibandha.
